I qualified as a GP in 2002 and my areas of interest are general practice, women's health, contraception and sexual health.
I qualified in 2005, and became a GP in 2014. Along the way I have completed 2 years of training to be an anaesthetist which was a great experience. I now practice part time in a surgery with patients face to face and part time by phone. I enjoy talking to people and finding out about them, I like my work and find medicine in general very interesting. I continually focus on developing my skills and knowledge and have achieved diplomas in sexual health, women's health and also take a keen interest in children's health. I have travelled and enjoy the medical challenges (as well as the physical!) that this brings. I have knowledge of different health care settings, resources and conditions which are seen and find these exciting and rewarding to treat. I am married and have a very lively little 4 year old!
